Tom enjoys the role of top cat until an adorable red-and-white-haired kitten is brought into the house of a young blonde woman. Resenting the little cat’s presence, Tom tries to get rid of him, but Jerry is always there to foil his plans. At story’s end, Jerry and the kitten are comfortably ensconced in Tom’s basket while the cat rubs the sly little mouse’s neck.
