On a dark and stormy night, the gang goes to Transylvania to watch the Hex Girls shoot their new music video for a song called “Wanna Wed, But I Fled.” Once there, they learn that the band is going to break up due to a vampire scaring them and sabotaging the music video. They catch the vampire, removing his makeup to reveal Steve Fortescu. Then the gang and Owen DeCassle (a man resembling Vincent Van Ghoul) lock Steve in a dungeon. When the gang goes to sleep, another vampire (the latter resembling the first one) appears. This causes chases and confusion as the chase starts over again under the lightning-filled skies. When the vampire catches up, Fred disappears and they suspect he’s been turned into a bat. Shaggy and Scooby go search for Fred, as Velma and Daphne attract the vampire. He comes, and Fred defeats the vampire (with the “help” of Velma’s garlic). The storm lets up and everything’s back to normal, but they reveal the second vampire as Steve, when he’s still locked in the dungeon! Turns out, according to evidence, Steve has a twin brother, also wanting to sabotage the music video. Then the Hex Girls perform a new music video for the Scooby-Doo theme.
