The Pink Panther tries a diet, but he just can’t seem to avoid the temptation of food. He sees a chance to get weighed for one cent. When he steps on the scales, a man sets his heavy suitcase on, too, in order to wipe his brow. This makes the scales show the Pink Panther weighing 225 pounds. He rushes home, takes all the food and nails it up in a closet, then starts doing push-ups. A hot dog vendor is outside his window. The Pink Panther orders a hot dog, then cancels the order. He walks down the street and sees a woman walking her weiner dog. He has visions of hot dogs again. Visiting a diet restaurant, he orders a meal. The waiter brings it to him on a tray: one bean. The bill is $22.50, which the Pink Panther won’t pay. The police get after him to pay the bill…
