Daffy is a chicken inspector badge salesman who can earn a million bucks if he makes ailing and morose buzz saw baron J.P. Cubish laugh. Novelty huckster Daffy abandons his street corner and tries to claim the reward. But he has to get past the butler first- via a series of blackout gags and a snappy Humphrey Bogart detective bit. “It’s a living!”
