Foghorn tries to teach Prissy’s son Egghead Jr. to be a woodsman, but he’s showed up at every turn. Foghorn encounters little Egghead Jr., a bookworm whom Foghorn thinks he can educate to the ways of nature. He starts teaching the little guy how to build a fire by rubbing two stick together, but he winds up setting himself on fire. Of course, after every attempt to show the young Egghead how do do something like build a snare trap, make rain, etc., the little fellow uses his book knowledge to top Foghorn!
