In the Revolutionary War “Battle of Bagel Heights” of 1776, Patriot Bugs and (Yosemite) Sam Von Schamm, the enemy, try to capture each other’s forts. “Who am I? I’m Sam Von Schamm the Hessian, that’s who I am!” Sam declares. “You ornery fur-bearin’ rebel, you’ll pay for this,” he emotes, adding, “Ya better say yer prayers, ya flea-bitten varmint, I’m a-gonna blow ya to smithereenies!” After being blown up himself at least three times, Sam admits: “I’m a Hessian without no aggression. If ya can’t beat ’em, join ’em.”
