Miss Prissy is having trouble laying an egg on Old MacDonald’s farm, so Foghorn helps her out by planting an egg under her. The egg hatches in slow-witted hen Miss Prissy’s nest, and out of the shell comes a baby rooster that Foghorn hates. Prissy’s new son has designs on Foghorn’s job. Fearing that he will be replaced by the kid rooster and sent to be slaughtered, Foghorn Leghorn plots to do the young rooster in, but the kid proves to be smarter than Foggy.
